Sparta Shield

The Sparta Shield is a bronze-faced hoplon with modest detailing, inspired by the Spartan period. During the campaigns of Alexander the Great, Greek heavy infantry, including those from the League of Corinth and hired mercenaries, were equipped as hoplites. Their traditional hoplite panoply included a thrusting spear (doru), a bronze-faced hoplon shield, and body armor, making them formidable in battle.
