Medieval Templar

Medieval Templar shields, used by the Knights Templar, were prominent from the 12th to the early 14th centuries. The Knights Templar, a military order founded around 1119, used these shields during the Crusades and in various battles across the Holy Land and Europe, Templar shields were typically large, emblazoned with the Templar cross, a symbol of the order’s devotion and martial prowess.
