The Busine

The Busine, a long, slender trumpet from the Middle Ages, was widely used in ceremonial and military events. Derived from the Roman buccina, it features a straight or slightly bent pipe. First mentioned in the Rolandskvadet around 1100, it symbolized grandeur and heraldic tradition.
